Hi everyone!
today I officially had my last real day in London. The last weeks showed again how beautiful London is. I visited Columbia Road Flower Market, Brick Lane and of course Big Ben, London Eye and Tower Bridge again, to have a look at these beauties one last time. By now I can really say that I feel home in London and I will miss it so much!
Tomorrow will be my last day in The Light Studios which will be a lot of work as always so I am excited for that.
But for now, enjoy the photos I took of London and have a great rest of the week!

Hello everyone,
we finally get to show you the pictures we took of North and South-East London.
It is crazy how versatile London is and how much you can do. Vanessa and I spent a day each exploring the parts of London. We went to Greenwich, the Docklands, Camden Market, Regent’s Park, Baker Street, King’s Cross and many others. All of these places have their own character and are beautiful in their own way. London definitely has to offer something for everybody. You could probably spend your whole life looking at all the beauty without getting tired of it and always recognising something new.
We learned how to photograph architecture, which is a nice thing to learn by doing it yourself. We planned the route we wanted to walk to visit all the places we thought would turn out great in our photos beforehand and then spent the day walking that route and stopping at each place for several minutes, sometimes hours, to definitely get the best out of it. We tried different angles and perspectives and it was very interesting to see how much things like that can change a photo.
But I will stop rambling and just show you the pictures that we took. Enjoy!

Hi everyone,
after exciting days in the studio I am finally back in the office for all the organisational stuff that I have left behind the past weeks. Today I started uploading the pictures I took of my first wedding as a photographer.
These pictures I took in the first weeks of my internship. I can’t believe how fast time is going by, next week I’m already going home! But I love thinking about what I experienced and I am very grateful for all the memories. Especially the wedding was very nice and it was interesting to see how a British wedding differs from a German one and what is similar on the other hand.
In the next week I definitely want to see more from London because I feel like there is so much more stuff waiting for me. You can never leave London without the feeling that you missed something I guess. You always have to come back.. and I certainly will!
But that’s enough for the sentimental bla bla, there’s still more than one week to go. So stay tuned for more behind the scenes!

Hi everyone!
These weeks are very busy for me. After visiting my family for a weekend I got back to the studio and my boss was on holidays. Vanessa and I had to run the studio on our own, which at the beginning I was quite afraid of. There can always be some difficult clients.. But now the week is over and my boss will be back today and I look back to a successful yet tough week.
It is a lot of organisation when you are responsible for a photo studio. Telling people when they can come in to book the studio when They’re calling, taking new products to photograph, welcoming the clients who booked the studio and assisting if they need any help, as well as cleaning the studio afterwards.. it clearly is a lot of work! But I think I managed it quite well.
Now there are only two weeks left of my ten weeks stay in London. The past two months went by way too fast! I’ve got the feeling there is still so much waiting for me here! I will definitely do some visiting the next week! But I am looking forward to going home again as well, of course. Let’s see what the next week holds for me!

Hey everyone !
Today is my last day at the Light Studio so it’s a sad day for me. I’ve worked here for 6 weeks and I never got bored. There was always something to do and every day I learned something new. I met really nice people that I will never forget and this internship is a new beginning for me. I’ve done so many things here: taking photos in the studio and outside, modelling, helping to make a video, playing a role in another one … And I enjoy every part of this internship !
Moreover I love London so I wish I could stay longer but, unfortunately, I have to go back to France to go to the University … But London is very close so I will definitively come back here !

Hi everyone, my name is Vanessa and I am from Germany. I’m going to do my internship at The Light Studios until December this year. I hope to learn as much as possible in photography and video making.
This week we, the interns, shot our first fashion video. Mara plays a girl who isn’t able to find the perfect dress for their second anniversary.
Charlotte plays her best friend who tries to help her but fails.
I have the responsibility for the camera and the editing.
The shoot was during 2 days and we had a really good make-up artist, Shelly Feldman, a talented actor, Diego Barbosa, who played the boyfriend and Thamizh Thendral who played a Clown in our video.
The filming was trouble-free and incredible funny with all that people together.
We shot at Holland Park, Fulham Palace and Oxford Circus.

Hey everybody,
today the other two interns and I will do our own photo shoot in the studio and I’m super excited already. As we didn’t really plan what to do I feel like I brought my whole wardrobe but at least I am prepared! We will have a wind machine and some differently coloured lights so I am really looking forward to experimenting with all those things.
The rest of the day I am editing the wedding pictures that I took and I have to say I am quite pleased. But I realise that I still have to learn a lot until I can say that I know how to set my camera to achieve the lighting and everything else that I wanted.. But for now it’s okay, it is my first official photography that maybe some people even use, which would be so awesome! Imagining that someone could have a photo taken by me hanging on a wall in their house or standing on their bedside table is just.. wow! That would definitely be a dream come true!
And the location for the wedding was just beautiful, take a look at these chandeliers.

Hiya everyone,
finally I am back with a new post! Yesterday Charlotte and I went to see a few locations for our own fashion video we plan to shoot next week. Once more all I can say: London is unbelievably beautiful! One second you feel like you are in Spain by the sea and the next you are in the mountains in Norway, 10 minutes apart from each other. Look at these pictures:
I think it is simply amazing what London has to offer! Here, you can have holidays every day. I really never wanna leave and yesterday was just amazing. I hope you all have a great day as well!

Hello everyone !
It’s me again, after a nice day off.
Today was so busy ! We had a woman with all these macaroons and biscuits to shoot. There were even Christmas biscuits that looked so good ! As you can see, there were all colours of cookies and that looked very nice on the pictures. The shooting took several hours but at the end it worth it !
I really loved these heart lollipops that gave me romantic thoughts.
Now, some people are still shooting several t-shirts in the studio so we have to stay later than usual.
Another good news that I can announce is that another intern did her first day with me today. Her name is Vanessa and she is from Germany and she’ll stay for almost 5 months so you’ll time to get to know her !!
