It’s been a while since my last post on here… We were very busy with all the product photography and events going on. However if you remember my post about the band Union J at our studio, you surely remember that they were here for the shooting for an app. Well you can now download this appsolutely cool application! It was such an exciting and amazing day with them and seeing the finished app now is really cool. Of course they were messing around quite much but that’s what made the day even better. Their fans will love the photo app! Whether they want to have a picture with George, Josh, Jaymi or JJ. Who doesn’t love creating a picture of yourself and your favourite band member? You can choose a picture of them holding a rose, giving you kisses, etc.
You can watch the ad (which was also filmed in our studio by the way) right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpux8saXW14
It was organised by Plus You and the shoot went really well! Also have a look at the actual app. It’s free and you can get loads and loads of hugs and kisses: http://t.co/mV7HUQp8Ce
As I also mentioned we were doing lots of product shoots. These were mainly designer vintage clothes. Who could know that by starting this internship I would be in charge of preparing very expensive clothes for a shoot? Whether it’s Chanel, Dior, Michael Kors or Versace, these quite old clothes are still worth a lot of money. It’s kind of cool dealing with such luxurious pieces of clothing. We already had about 200 of them and a lot more will be coming! Basically my job is steaming them, putting them on the mannequin and prepare them for the shoot. The problem is that some people just don’t realize how long it actually takes to get a good picture of products in general. It’s even more difficult when it comes to clothing. Of course the client wants the pictures to be perfect so we do all we can to live up to the expectations. Our usual goal is to do 40 items in eight hours when it comes to these vintage clothes. Some of them are really hard to prepare because of all the creases but we always give 150%.
Another thing is that we now have a new intern! She will start posting on this blog as well. So tomorrow say hi to Theresa! 🙂
